Chinese Alliance for Urban Climate and Environment (CHANCE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing scientific, educational, and charitable endeavors. Our core objectives include:

1. Promoting both fundamental and applied research on urban climate and environmental issues through scholarly activities such as scientific conferences, webinars, publications, and other educational programs.
2. Facilitating collaboration among scholars and expanding opportunities for the next generation of students to engage in the diverse and evolving field of urban climate and environmental studies.
3. Fostering public awareness and interest in urban climate and environmental issues to inspire meaningful action and engagement.

CHANCE is envisioned and created by a group of founding organizers, including Professor Jiachuan Yang, Professor Dan Li, Professor Ning Zhang, and Dr. Shiguang Miao. As CHANCE is still in its early phase, we warmly welcome individuals to get involved and contribute to shaping its future. Regular membership is free and open to all individuals working in areas related to urban climate and the environment. 国际华人城市气候与环境联盟（CHANCE）是一个致力于推动科学、教育及公益事业的非营利组织。我们的核心目标包括：

1. 通过学术会议、线上研讨会、出版物及其他教育项目，促进城市气候与环境领域的基础及应用研究；
2. 搭建学者协作网络，为青年学子拓宽参与这一多元前沿领域的机遇；
3. 提升公众对城市气候与环境问题的认知与关注，激发公众更加广泛的参与。

CHANCE由杨嘉川教授、李丹教授、张宁教授及苗世光博士共同发起并创立。目前协会仍处于早期阶段，我们热忱欢迎各界人士加入，携手擘画未来。常规会员免费向所有从事城市气候与环境相关领域工作的个人开放。若您有意参与联盟的组建工作（包括牵头组织或志愿参与我们的活动），请联系杨嘉川教授。
